Allison Transmission has introduced version 2.0 of Allison DOC™ For Fleets (1000/2000) and Allison DOC™¬ For Fleets (3000/4000) PC-based diagnostic applications.

Allison DOC™ For Fleets (1000/2000) v2.0 provides basic diagnostic capabilities for truck fleets, including regional fleets, OEM truck dealers, municipalities, and those who use or service Allison Transmissions. This software supports legacy 1000 and 2000 Product Families (Pre-Allison 4th Generation Controls) and Allison 4th Generation Controls.  PC-to-vehicle diagnostic communication is available via either J1939, J1850, and/or GMLAN communication links.


Allison DOC™ For Fleets (3000/4000) v2.0 is for use with the 3000 and 4000 Product Families, including B300, B400 and B500 transmissions.  This software supports 3000 and 4000 Product Families, B300, B400, and B500 with legacy WTEC II/WTEC III controls, including Allison 4th Generation Controls.  PC-to-vehicle diagnostic communication is available via either J1939 or J1708/J1587 communication links. 

These two products, available now, are separate software applications, with separate installations and software builds.  Each provides a transmission controller-specific subset of functionality which can be found in the Alllison DOC™ For PC-Service Tool.

Specific features include:

  • Functional subset of the more powerful Allison DOC™  For PC - Service Tool
  • Compatible with Allison 4th Generation Controls
  •  Backward-compatible with legacy transmission control systems
  • Contains embedded troubleshooting manuals, video help support, integrated “help” function, diagnostics with link to support information
  • Displays multiple transmission parameters
  • Offers Windows/PC-based Graphical User Interface (GUI)
  • Does not contain Reprogramming capability, Strip chart or Graphics Page
  • Offers user or event driven Snapshot capability

     - Triggers on DTC (any or specific) or keystroke

     - Uses “VCR” style control functions

  • Separate applications for 1000/2000 product families and 3000/4000 product families
  • Configured to support site license distribution

The two new software packages are designed to operate on PCs with the following configurations:

  • Microsoft® Windows 2000® (SP4 or later) and Windows XP® Professional®
  • 500 Mb free hard drive disk space required to install program, plus sufficient space to run program
  • Pentium® III 800MHz required, or Pentium® IV 2.0GHz or greater for optimal performance
  • One 1.1 USB port, or 2.0 USB port for optimal performance
  • 16x CDM, or 48x or better for optimal performance
