Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool v9.2.0
The Allison DOC® For PC – Service Tool V9.2.0 update was made available in October of 2011, as a “no charge” internet-download for all the Allison DOC® For PC – Service Tool V9.x.x users. Some of the enhancements included within the Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool v9.2.0 update are:
- Updates Diagnostic Data grid with “Absolute Throttle Position” parameter for 3K/4K data lists
- Updates 3000/4000 4th Gen Hydraulic Schematic
- Updates Custom Graphics Monitor with additional selectable parameters
- Supports Dell NetBook PCs
- Includes CAN error frame and CAN bus load information when available for supported translator devices
- The following translator device versions support this functionality:
- Noregon Wireless/USB – All Allison Products v3.0.24.0
- NEXIQ USB-Link v8.0.5.0
- Softing CANCard2/CANusb v5.16
- Updates Graphical View to show actual values for gauges
- Updates Strip Chart to allow saving annotated snapshot files
- Updates Advanced Help Videos – includes download link under the Software Configuration menu, Update Application tab
- Corrects the WTEC2 wire #154 ABS Signal state display
- Corrects the WTEC3 Throttle Source reprogramming function
- Includes enhanced Troubleshooting Manual pdf viewer
- Renames "Fuel Management Data" to "LBSS and Fuel Management Data" in the 3000/4000 4th Gen TCM Troubleshoot Specific Problem list
Notice OEMs and Body Builders: The Pro-Link® diagnostic tool will not be compatible to transmissions that utilize Allison 4th Generation Controls. The Allison 4th Generation Controls system requires Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool v5.0.0 (or later) for diagnostics and reprogramming (i.e. modifying CMCs). Allison DOC® For Fleets (1000/2000) v5.0 and DOC® For Fleets (3000/4000) v5.0 are now available for purchase from Noregon Systems. Allison DOC® For Fleets (1000/2000) v5.0 and DOC® For Fleets (3000/4000) v5.0 represent the ongoing evolution of the Allison DOC® For Fleets diagnostic tools. Some of the new features included with this upgrade are the following:
- Includes MY 10 updates for VAC, LBSS Prognostics, and TRANSHEATHTM features
- Includes MY 10 Torque Converter Models for Fleets (1000/2000)
- Includes MY 10 2nd Reverse feature display for Fleets (3000/4000)
- Added Windows 7 to Operating System support list
- Added ability to connect to new CEC3 Off Highway 4th Generation Transmission Controller for Fleets (3000/4000)
- Enhanced graphics and improved usability:
- The vertical tool bar may be undocked to a floating window by dragging the top bar to the desired location.
- Indicator lights on top right show on/off/flashing status for Reverse Warning, Check Transmission, Neutral Start, Range Inhibit and Service Indicator lamps.
- F-buttons in old versions of DOC are now represented by intuitive icons. NOTE: The icons can be turned OFF by right clicking the area and un-checking the "show Images" box
- Status bar on bottom left shows the number of days left in the reactivation period and application connect time
- Includes the latest available versions of every Allison Transmission troubleshooting manual (where applicable) supported by the service tool
- Includes the new V2.20 Driver for the Dearborn DPA USB and DPA4 Plus USB Translator Devices (automatically installed when the Allison DOC® For Fleets diagnostic tools are installed)
- DTC and General Information screen now allows the user to toggle between displaying TCM faults and displaying TCM and Engine faults through the "View Engine/TCM Faults" button.
- Improvements to Data Monitor:
- Separate Input/Output grids
- Ability to reorder data parameters in the Diagnostic Data grid, Input grid, and Output grid by dragging the parameter to the desired location in the grid
- Updates Diagnostic Data grid with "Intended Retarder Torque" and "Actual Retarder Torque" parameters for MY 11 and later for Fleets (3000/4000)
- Noregon Wireless/USB Translator - All Allison Products added as essential translator device
Allison DOC® For Fleets (1000/2000) v5.0 and Allison DOC® For Fleets (3000/4000) v5.0 can be purchased from Noregon Systems. Refer to Purchasing for more information.
Allison DOC® For Fleets (1000/2000) v5.0 supports the 1000 and 2000 Product Families with the latest features as well as legacy 1000 and 2000 Product Families’ control systems. While Allison DOC® For Fleets (3000/4000) v5.0 also supports the latest features as well as legacy WTEC II and WTEC III control systems.
The Allison DOC® For Fleets diagnostic tools are scaled-down versions of the Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool diagnostic tool with a focus on distribution to National Account Fleets, municipalities, etc. The Allison DOC® For Fleets diagnostic tools are for any service location with an interest in performing fundamental diagnostics for Allison electronically-controlled commercial transmissions. Allison DOC® For Fleets is configured to support site license distribution.
Allison DOC® For PC (H 40/50 EP) v4.0
Allison DOC® For PC (H 40/50 EP) v4.0 (Noregon P/N: 93140 - Existing User, Noregon P/N: 93040 - New User) is available for purchase at the Allison Web Store https://allison.noregon.com. Allison DOC® For PC (H 40/50 EP) v4.0 is compatible with the H 40/50 EP System. As a note, Allison DOC® For PC (H 40/50 EP) v4.0 is a separate, standalone application (not part of Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool). Refer to SIL 13-EP-11 on the Allison Transmission Extranet for a summary of the new features and enhancements.
Please note that Windows® Vista® is not compatible with the Softing CANusb and the V5.10 Softing Driver is not compatible with the CANusb.

Allison DOC® For Fleets is a functional subset of the Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool. Allison DOC® For Fleets does not include ECU/TCM Reprogramming, Strip Chart, Action Request Items, Graphics Monitor and a few other items found specifically for the Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool. While Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool was created to be the "essential-rated" diagnostic tool for the Allison Transmission Service Channel providing comprehensive diagnostics and reprogramming capabilities for the technician, Allison DOC® For Fleets is target for truck fleets, municipalities, and/or anyone else who has an interest in fundamental diagnostics for Allison electronically controlled transmissions. Two versions of Allison DOC® For Fleets are available, Allison DOC® For Fleets (1000/2000) v5.0 and Allison DOC® For Fleets (3000/4000) v5.0.
