, IN — As the world leader in medium- and heavy-duty commercial transmissions, Allison Transmission continues its on-going product improvement initiative with the introduction of new Prognostic features for MY09. Prognostics are now available on MY09 Allison 1000/2000/3000/4000 Series models.
Calibrated to particular operating requirements of vehicles, Prognostic features monitor various operating parameters to determine and alert when a specific maintenance function is required. These features take the guesswork and hassle out of scheduling routine vehicle maintenance. Use of Allison Approved TES 295 transmission fluid is required.
