December 6, 2011: Notice to All Suppliers -  Allison has renamed the Ryder cross-dock location from Opel Hungary to ATI International Cross Dock.  This name change has caused some errors in EDI transmission, so please notify your EDI people of this change so that they can make the appropriate adjustments.  The Ryder cross-dock location is where you have historically shipped Dock 80 parts.  In the future, this Ryder location will also cover our India parts for Dock 40.  It is possible that you may ship parts to Docks 40 and 80.  ATI Transportation Group is currently working on revised Transportation Routings which include the new dock location.  Just to clarify, here is the shipping address that should be used for Docks 40 and 80: 

November 18, 2011: Notice to All Suppliers   -  Allison Transmission will be closed for holiday shutdown November 24-25, and from December 24 through January 2, 2012.  Normal production will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.  Please work with your respective material planners to understand how this may impact the logistics associated with materials due to ship from your facility.

November 18, 2011: Notice to 1000 Series Suppliers  -   North American suppliers of 1000 series products will soon see releases for material due to dock 40, location NDIA.  This location is the Allison International cross dock and those materials will be consolidated and shipped in support of production at the Allison India production facility.  Parts shipping to international regions must be properly protected from rust and corrosion per specification AT-1700, which can be found on this Allison web site.  Please contact your respective material planner, buyer, supplier quality engineer, or Ben Lacey at 317-242-3874 if you have questions on this subject.

In our efforts to better assist you, Allison is implementing a new On-Line Document Management program .  Effective immediately,  suppliers will have the option to e-mail non-dock receipted invoices to : payables@allisontransmission.com. This option is available for only non-dock receipted shipments (indirect purchases only).
