 Universal Allison DOC® v11.1

The Universal Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool V11.1 update was made available in May of 2013, as a “no charge” internet-download for all the Universal Allison DOC® V11.0.x users. Universal Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool represents a single package containing each of the former variations of Allison DOC® including Allison DOC® For PC – Service Tool, Allison DOC® For PC – H 40/50 EP, Allison DOC® For Fleets – (1000/2000 Series™), and Allison DOC® For Fleets – (3000/4000 Series™). Separate license keys are required to activate each of these components. Some of the new features and enhancements included within the Universal Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool V11.1 update are:

Allison DOC® For PC:

• Adds Throttle Position Sensor Voltage to 1000/2000 Data Monitor parameter list
• Adds updated Advanced Help videos
• Adds feature to save 5^th Gen Reprogramming Configuration files
• This includes current I/O, CMC, Active Package and TCM Password selection
• This does not include protected parameter changes
• Adds messages to provide rules associated with 5^th Gen protected parameters that a technician is Reprogramming

Allison DOC® For PC (H 40/50 EP):

Includes the following MY13 specific updates:

• New parameter displayed in DC/DC Converter section in Data Monitor and ESS Data Monitor DC/DC Converter ON/OFF Command
• New High Voltage Distribution Module (HVDM) category in Data Monitor and ESS Data Monitor
• CH1 and CH2 Voltage, Current, Temperature
• CH1 and CH2 Enabled, Pre-Charging, Contractor, Open Pending, Ready and Fault Status States
• New Heating-Ventilation-Air Conditioning (HVAC) category in Data Monitor and ESS Data Monitor
• HVAC Main Switch ON/OFF Command

Note: ‘HVAC Main Switch ON/OFF Command’ can have around a 10 second delay due to the transmit rate on that message

 The Universal Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool V11.0.1 update was made available in January of 2013. Universal Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool represents a single package containing each of the former variations of Allison DOC® including Allison DOC® For PC – Service Tool, Allison DOC® For PC – H 40/50 EP, Allison DOC® For Fleets – (1000/2000 Series™), and Allison DOC® For Fleets – (3000/4000 Series™). Separate license keys are required to activate each of these components. Universal Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool V11.0.1 will be available by DVD, USB thumb drive, or downloaded file through the Allison Web Store (https://allison.noregon.com).  Some of the new features and enhancements included within the Universal Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool V11.0.1 update are:

• Adds support for 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 Series Product Allison 5th Generation controllers
  • When manually connecting to 5th Gen controller, choose CAN protocol
• Adds the Troubleshooting Manuals for 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 Series Product Allison 5th Generation Controls
• Includes a Technician’s Library under the Help menu
  • Includes reference documents including Input / Output guides
• Ability to reprogram certain 5th Gen Customer Modifiable Constants (CMCs) that previously required a new calibration
  • These CMCs are password controlled and can be unlocked by the Allison Calibration Desk
  • See the Protected Parameter list in Section 41 of the Allison DOC® for PC–Service Tool User Guide for a complete list of these parameters

 Please note that Windows® Vista® is not compatible with the Softing CANusb and the V5.10 Softing Driver is not compatible with the CANusb.

Allison DOC® For Fleets is a functional subset of the Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool.  Allison DOC® For Fleets does not include ECU/TCM Reprogramming, Strip Chart, Action Request Items, Graphics Monitor and a few other items found specifically for the Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool.  While Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool was created to be the "essential-rated" diagnostic tool for the Allison Transmission Service Channel providing comprehensive diagnostics and reprogramming capabilities for the technician, Allison DOC® For Fleets is target for truck fleets, municipalities, and/or anyone else who has an interest in fundamental diagnostics for Allison electronically controlled transmissions.  Two versions of Allison DOC® For Fleets are available, Allison DOC® For Fleets (1000/2000) and Allison DOC® For Fleets (3000/4000).

 * Allison DOC® For Fleets Action Requests are limited to the following: Reset Adaptive Shift Parameters/Reset Unadapted Shifts, Read Static Data, Reset Prognostic Information {MY09 (and later) Allison 4th Generation Controls and Allison 5th Generation Controls (with 'Prognostics' enabled in the Calibration)}, and Engineering Calculations
