PC Based Applications

Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool v8.x.x, Allison DOC®For PC (AED) v3.0, Allison TCM Reflash v2.x, Allison DOC® For Fleets (1000/2000) v4.x, and Allison DOC® For Fleets (3000/4000) v4.x 
The softwares listed above have been tested with and are known to operate per the following configurations:

• Microsoft® Windows® XP® Professional, Window® 2000® (SP4 or later) Professional, or Windows® Vista® Home Basic (or better, minimum for Allison DOC^TM For PC (AED) v3.0)   
• 20 GB Hard Drive, (40 GB or greater recommended)
• 600 MB free hard drive space required to install the program (after software installation, the operating system requires sufficient free hard disk space to run the program)
• 512 MB of RAM system memory (1 GB recommended)
• 1GHZ (or greater) 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
• Internet connection capability (Internet Explorer 5.0.1 or greater).  (NOTE: A broadband Internet connection is recommended for receiving updates and file downloads)
• A serial port is required if connecting legacy CEC1 controllers, or if using the J-44652-A - SPX J1850-VPW (Class 2) translator device in addition to using an Intermec printer for Allison TCM Reflash
• One available USB port - USB 1.1 (USB 2.0 recommended)  
• 16x CD-ROM (48x or greater recommended) 
• Full administrative privileges are required to install, use, and update Allison DOC® diagnostic tools and Allison TCM Reflash 

NOTE:  In order to install and run any of the Allison DOC® diagnostic tools on Windows Vista®, the user must have full administrator privileges, and must have the User Account Control feature turned OFF.

Allison DOC® For PC (AED) v3.1 (or later)
Allison DOC For PC (AED) v3.1 has been tested with is known to operate per the following configurations:

• Microsoft® Windows® 2000® (SP4 or later) and Microsoft® XP® (Professional Version) 

                   - 1.9 GB of RAM system memory
                   - 5 GB Hard Drive (minimum)
                   - 2GHz (or greater) processor
                   - One available USB Port, PCMCIA, or PCI Slot
                   - 1024x768 Monitor

•  Microsoft® Windows® Vista® 

                   - 1 GB of RAM system memory
                   - 20 GB Hard Drive (minimum) 
                   - 1.6 GHz (or greater) processor
                   - One available USB Port, PCMCIA, or PCI Slot
                   - 1024x768 Monitor

Error messages, sudden disconnections, and poor performance are some of the results users will experience if any of the Allison DOC® diagnostic tools are installed on PCs that do not meet one or more of the above specifications.

NOTE:  In order to install and run any of the Allison DOC® diagnostic tools on Windows Vista®, the user must have full administrator privileges, and must have the User Account Control feature turned OFF.
