Two methods are available to receive updates. Updates can be obtained using the 'Update Application' feature of the diagnostic tools or updates can be downloaded directly via the internet.

 Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool v8.3.0 'Software Configuration' Update

 Please refer to the following steps to exercise this functionality:  

1. Double click on the Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool application icon
2. Click on the Software Configuration option
3. Click on the Update Application tab
4. At this point, there are two ways to download the update file:
   a. Click on Check for Update button. If there is any updates available, it will be posted on the next screen. Follow the installation indicated on the different screens.
   b. Click on the shown URL. Once on the update website, please read carefully the listed instructions for downloading and applying the Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool update.

NOTE: An update could significantly affect the performance of Allison DOC® For PC-Service Tool.  Users should periodically check for updates to ensure optimal application compliance.

2. Click on the Software Configuration option
3. Click on the Update Application tab
