대한민국, 서울 – 앨리슨 트랜스미션은 최근 출시한 중대형 트럭용 전기 추진 시스템인 'AXE 시리즈'가 상용 트럭 제조업체인 피터빌트(Peterbilt)의 579EV 트럭에 장착됐다고 밝혔다.
앨리슨의 AXE 시리즈는 중대형 트럭의 차축 표준 프레임 내부에 적합하게 설계된 통합형 파워트레인 시스템이다. 전기 모터, 2단 기어박스, 오일 쿨러 및 펌프로 구성돼 있다.
579EV 트럭은 1,475마력(1,100 킬로와트)이며, 고효율성과 고성능을 제공한다.
