앨리슨 트랜스미션, 저상 버스용 전기 추진 시스템 공개
대한민국, 서울 – 앨리슨 트랜스미션은 저상 버스용 전기 추진 시스템 'ABE시리즈'를 출시했다고 밝혔다.
ABE 시리즈는 이중 전기 모터, 단일 또는 다중 기어박스, 오일 쿨러, 펌프 및 전원 전력 등이 통합돼 있다.
ABE 시리즈는 버스 OEM이 기존에 생산하던 버스에 차축 프레임 변경 없이 그대로 적용될 수 있다. 때문에, 2층 버스, 굴절 버스, 3 도어 버스 등의 전기 추진 시스템으로 사용될 예정이다.

ABE시리즈는 회생 제동 시 토크가 100% 가동 된다. 차축 중량은 최대 28,660파운드(13톤)으로 동급의 다른 전기 추진 시스템보다 더 많은 전력과 토크를 제공한다. 이중 전기 모터가 장착돼 있어, 536 마력(400킬로와트)의 연속 출력과 738 마력(550킬로와트)의 최대 출력도 가능하다. 내부 냉각도 우수해 최대 전력과 유사한 전력으로 장시간 주행이 가능하다. 또, 고속 운행 시에도 도로 주행 관련 모든 기준을 충족하며 운행할 수 있다.
표준 시스템은 28인치(700mm)로 구성됐으며, 39인치(1,000mm) 구성도 선택 가능하다.
