Allison has designed into its stationary transmission applications the provision to allow use of either automatic or manual controls for use in dual mode applications such as oil field work rigs.
Manual shift mode for stationary oilfield equipment permits overriding the shift logic to shift manually. A quick-to-neutral feature is also available for the same type of equipment. This function may be used in one or two shift selectors
To help protect the transmission from its hard working environment optional corrosion protection can be applied extending transmission durability.
