During tough summer months, the frequency of forest fires rises as temperatures do. In the area that stretches between Hatay, the Mediterranean, the Aegean coastal regions and Istanbul, flames can spread rapidly due to windy conditions. That means response time is crucial to protecting people, property and environmental resources. The General Directorate of Forestry has strengthened its fleet by adding BMC 625 model fire trucks, all benefitting from the power, speed and maneuverability of Allison fully automatic transmissions.
