TranSyndTM RD is now available through the Allison Distributor and Dealer network. The product is available in bulk, 55-gallon drums and 275-gallon disposable totes. TranSynd RD is for use in Off-Road vocations only.
TranSyndTM RD was designed specifically for Allison for use in "Rigorous Duty" Off-Highway applications. TranSyndTM RD is a premium synthetic automatic transmission fluid that is Allison Transmission C-4 approved. It additionally meets Allison Transmission TES-353 specifications. TES 353 extended drain intervals and reduced life cycle costs are applicable to following Allison Off-Highway transmissions: 5, 6, 8, 9000 Series (Mobile and Stationary). Oil .
The advantages to promote this product are:
- TranSyndTM RD is a true all weather fluid. This is especially true in artic conditions where currently fleets are using automatic transmission fluids or 10W engine oils. In many cases the drain interval must be shortened due to limited anti wear and oxidation stability.
- TranSyndTM RD does not leach out copper or silver from the sintered bronze friction material and other metallic surfaces as engine oils do.
- TranSyndTM RD lowers the life cycle transmission maintenance costs. The savings in filter element costs alone more than justifies the increased cost of the fluid.
