Refrigerator Truck Owner Drives Hyundai Mighty Equipped With Allison Automatics for 190,000 Kilometers

A refrigerator truck driver drives Hyundai Mighty equipped with its fully automatic transmission for more than 190,000 kilometers since purchasing the truck in July 2020.

Kyung-ho Kim, who drives a refrigerator truck in the Seoul metropolitan area, chose the Hyundai Mighty equipped with an Allison fully automatic transmission for convenience and efficiency. In fact, Kim said that the burden on driving has been greatly reduced thanks to the Allison fully automatic transmission. There are many repeated downtown rides transporting fruits, vegetables and frozen food in the Seoul metropolitan area, but thanks to the Mighty equipped with an Allison fully automatic transmission, his work efficiency has increased and he reports significantly reduced fatigue.

Kim’s Hyundai Mighty is equipped with Allison's 1000 xFETM transmission, which does not require any gear shifts or clutch operation.
