앨리슨 트랜스미션, '2022년도 ESG보고서' 발간
대한민국, 서울, 2023년 7월 4일 – 앨리슨 트랜스미션이 2022년의 ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 경영 전략과 성과를 담은 ESG 보고서를 발간했다.
앨리슨 트랜스미션의 데이비드 그라지오시 회장 겸 최고경영자(CEO)는 "앨리슨은 상용차 업계가 맞이할 배기가스 기준 변경과 전기차 기술 도입의 증대에 대비하고 있다"며 "광범위한 경험과 혁신의 유산을 바탕으로 고객과 전 세계가 지속가능한 사회를 만들 수 있도록 차세대 추진 솔루션의 확산을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다"고 말했다.
앨리슨은 글로벌 상용차 업계에서 추진 솔루션의 개발을 선도하고 있다. 특히 연료 경제성과 효율성이 탁월한 전자동 변속기 기술 혁신을 이끌고 있으며, 하이브리드 및 전기차 제품 포트폴리오도 폭넓게 갖추고 있다.
앨리슨은 지난 2022년에 액슬(차축)당 최대 13톤 중량의 전기 트럭과 전기 버스에 적용할 수 있는 eGen Power 130S를 출시하며 eGen Power 전기 액슬 제품군을 확대했다. 2022년 6월에는 미국 인디애나폴리스 버스회사가 세계에서 처음으로 Allison eGen Flex™ 전기 하이브리드 시스템이 적용된 시내버스를 도입했다.
또한 앨리슨은 방위산업 분야에도 하이브리드 및 전기 추진 솔루션을 공급하고 있다. 지난해 앨리슨은 상용차 업계에서 축적한 경험과 기술력을 바탕으로 eGen Force™ 방산용 전기 하이브리드 시스템을 개발했다. 이외에도 앨리슨의 전자동 변속기는 천연가스 및 프로판 등의 대체 가연성 연료와 호환되기 때문에 배기가스 절감 효과가 크다.
