앨리슨, 5000번째 카운티 오토매틱 차량 고객에게 소정의 선물 증정
대한민국 서울, 6월 23일 - 앨리슨 트랜스미션은 지난 2013년 8월 선보인 현대자동차의 카운티 오토매틱 모델이 출시 10년만에 누적 판매 5,000대를 돌파했다고 밝혔다.
카운티는 전장 7M급 준중형 버스 시장을 대표하는 모델로 관광, 통학, 마을버스 등 다양한 용도로 활용된다. 카운티 오토매틱 차량에는 앨리슨 트랜스미션의 T1000 xFE™ 전자동 변속기가 장착돼 있다. 앨리슨은 100년 이상의 역사를 바탕으로 운전 편의성, 내구성, 생산성, 경제성, 안정성, 연비 효율성 등이 탁월한 자동변속기 제품들을 트럭과 버스 등 상용차 제조사들에게 공급하고 있다.
이경미 앨리슨 트랜스미션 코리아 지사장은 "지난 10년간 앨리슨 전자동 변속기에 변함없는 신뢰를 보여준 카운티 고객분들께 깊은 감사를 드린다"며 "오토매틱 차량은 장시간 운전을 해도 피로가 거의 없고, 별다른 유지보수 비용이 필요하지 않으며, 생산성과 내구성이 좋아 최근 수요가 크게 늘고 있다"고 밝혔다.
앨리슨 트랜스미션은 지난 2013년 100대의 자동변속기를 현대자동차에 카운티용으로 공급한 이래 매년 공급이 증가하고 있으며, 올해의 경우 1000대 이상 공급할 것으로 기대하고 있다. 현재 카운티 신차 차량 출고 시 오토매틱 점유율은 약 60%에 이르고 있다.
앨리슨의 전자동 변속기는 수동이나 반자동 변속기 보다 경제성이 좋으며, 별도의 클러치 및 기어 조작이 필요하지 않아 운행 중 피로도와 사고발생 가능성을 낮춰 준다. 또한, 차량 탑승인원, 지형 등 다양한 운행 조건에 따라 최적의 변속을 제공해 연비 효율성이 뛰어나며, 출력 간섭 없이 최고의 성능을 발휘한다.
한편, 앨리슨 트랜스미션은 최근 경기도 성남 위례신도시에서 고객감사 이벤트를 갖고 카운티 오토매틱 5000번째 고객인 클로버기획관광의 최병기 이사에게 소정의 선물과 감사의 마음을 전했다.
위례와 판교에서 직장인 출퇴근 및 영어 유치원생 통학을 위해 카운티 버스를 운행하는 최병기 이사는 2013년 10월 처음으로 카운티 오토매틱을 구매한 이후 지금까지 총 5대의 오토매틱 차량을 구매했고, 올해 4월에도 오토매틱을 구입해 운행하고 있다.
최병기 클로버기획관광 이사는 "하루 평균 200km 이상을 주행하더라도 피곤함을 크게 느끼지 못할 정도로 오토매틱 차량에 매우 만족하고 있다"며 "앨리슨 자동변속기 제품은 고장이 거의 발생하지 않고 생산성과 경제성까지 좋아 주변에서도 큰 관심을 보이고 있다"고 말했다.
