CBK 소속 김성배 사장, 2021년 4월 현대 마이티 2.5톤 구매 후 성능에 만족 CBK, 향후 마이티 오토매틱 차량 구매 확대 예정
대한민국, 서울, 7월 10일 - 앨리슨 트랜스미션은 물류 배송업체인 CBK의 베테랑 운전자 김성배 사장이 지난 2021년 4월에 앨리슨 1000 시리즈™ 자동변속기가 장착된 현대 마이티 2.5톤 오토매틱 차량을 구매한 이후 앨리슨 오토매틱의 성능에 대한 만족도가 높아 향후 구매를 확대할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
CBK 소속의 개인 물류사업자 김성배 사장은 "최근 차량 가격과 기름값 등이 상당히 인상됐는데, 오토매틱 차량은 유지보수 비용이 거의 없고 생산성이 뛰어나 물류운송에 최적화됐다는 평가를 받는다"고 말했다.
CBK는 이마트 물류센터에서 취급하는 품목들을 전국으로 배송하고 있다. 김성배 사장은 이마트 여주물류센터의 신선식품을 서울, 경기도, 인천 등 수도권으로 배송하고 있다. 현재 CBK가 전국에서 운영하는 마이티 오토매틱 차량은 총 70여대로, 이 중 4대가 이마트 여주물류센터에서 사용 중이다.
김성배 사장은 "아침 일찍 물류센터에서 신선식품을 배당 받아 서울 강남 일대에 배송하고 있다"며 "하루 평균 320km 정도 주행하는데, 오토매틱 차량은 기어 및 클러치 조작을 하지 않아도 돼 매우 편하다"고 말했다.
그는 이어 "앨리슨 자동변속기 장착 트럭은 승용차를 주해하는 것과 똑 같은 것 같다. 기어 변속이 매우 부드럽고, 주행 시 승차감도 좋고, 전방만 주시하면 돼 사고의 위험도 적다. 매일 여주와 서울을 오가는 주행 속에서도 피곤함을 거의 못 느끼고 있다. 수동 차량에 비하면 오토매틱 차량이 훨씬 좋은 것 같다"고 말했다.
현재, CBK에서는 앨리슨 변속기의 운전 편의성, 경제성, 내구성, 가속성 등을 좋게 평가해 현재 70대 운영 중인 마이티 오토매틱의 수를 더욱 늘릴 계획이다.
트럭 운전자가 물류업에 종사하다 보면 지방의 좁은 길이나 급경사를 다니는 경우가 많다. 수동이나 반자동 변속기 장착 차량은 급경사를 오르내릴 때 시동이 꺼지는 경우가 자주 발생하는데, 이는 매우 위험하다. 반면, 앨리슨 오토매틱 자동변속기 차량은 파워 단락이 없다.
